Update: I had my post op surgery recheck at the end of August and the doctor said that my incision looks fantastic and that I can loose the stupid plastic thing around my head and can slowly start to resume some activity! Talk about the best news ever! Now I just need my forever family to run around with!

Update: I was released Wednesday, August 14th from the ER veterinary hospital and I'm recovering safely in a foster home. The foster is giving me lots of love and attention! I even have a doggy friend, a cat friend, and a little kitten friend as company. It's amazing! I can't wait to play with them once I'm fully healed! The lady fostering me gives lots of cuddles, but I really wish I didn't have to wear this big plastic thing around my head...I mean how's a dog supposed to lick themself? Call the PawPolice, bc this cone of shame needs to go and I feel like the felines in the home get more food and treats than I do. Well time for my nap, I just had a delicious kong filled treat, so my belly is happy and I need a rest. Let's be real you don't look this good with out some serious zzz's!

Hi, my name is Butters, I'm a 6 month old puppy that sadly ate a sock and needed surgery to have it removed. This is the second time I've ate a sock, and sadly my family couldn't afford to pay for the surgery this time. The amazing people at JR's Pups-N-Stuff stepped in and said that my family could surrender me to them, and they would help cover the surgery and find me a new home for them so they didn't have to make the unthinkable choice! I'm excited to be part of this new group, well, I may not look super excited as I'm recovering from the surgery, but under this beautiful face, I'm excited.

The wonderful people at JR's need help from all their supporters to help pay for the surgery at the ER Veterinary Hospital that helped me. They are pretty great people to help me out, and I can't wait for the chance to find a new furever family. Can you spare some money to help this crew out to cover my medical expenses? I know they are pretty great, the nice lady cuddling me after I woke up told me all about them, and that all money donated goes into the animals in their rescue! I have to admit that's pretty cool, and I heard they have some amazing treats they give us animals to be spoiled with! Paws crossed I get some of those soon!
