Harnessing Hope Inc. is the only poly-vagal nerve, equine Therapeutic riding, driving and equine assisted learning facility in Shelby County. We are also only the third therapeutic driving facility in the entire state of Indiana! Driving creates opportunities to individuals that riding is not an option for or a change of perspective for a rider.

According to a 2015 study by Beth A. Lanning, an 8-week therapeutic riding program resulted in a "clinically significant decrease in PTSD symptoms, improved social functioning, vitality, less interference of emotions in daily activities, and increased participation. Qualitative themes discovered included improved confidence, trust, acceptance of self and others, and gratitude." There are a very limited number of programs accessible to participants with cognitive, social, emotional or trauma disabilities, and an even greater reduction of resources when the participant is over school age, a veteran, a victim or older in age.

Auction item pick up is at the barn or other shipping arrangements at the buyers expense can be made individually on a case by case basis.
