As you may know, Cancer Hope Foundation’s mission is to enhance the lives of people affected by cancer. We are raising money for our primary program, Camp Keepsake. Camp Keepsake is a wonderful, COST FREE retreat where adult cancer patients/survivors can go with up to five guests including their family and close friends to spend time away from the hectic and often stressful routine of doctor visits and treatments. It’s a place where those affected by cancer receive support in an energetic and fun atmosphere. It’s backed by the security of having medical personnel on site. Camp Keepsake offers a variety of fun, camp-related activities along with SPA-type amenities for the adult campers. It’s held in a woodsy camp environment where we are always mindful of the safety and special needs of our campers. Campers can network, develop friendships, and learn more about cancer related topics. It is a place to laugh, cry and embrace life together. A previous camper touched on the impact of camp when stating that attending camp was “as important as receiving medical treatment such as chemotherapy.” Other campers have compared camp to “being on a relaxing cruise but on land.” We encourage you to see additional testimonials that can be viewed on our website.
