Carter’s Classic was created in memory of our son, Carter—a little boy who changed our lives in the shortest amount of time.

When we experienced the loss of Carter, we found ourselves wishing for something we didn’t have: more time.

In the most fragile and devastating moment of our lives, we were forced to say goodbye far too quickly. We didn’t get to hold him as long as we needed. We didn’t get the time to sit in silence, to cry, to introduce him to family, or to begin grieving.

It was a quiet heartbreak that left us thinking, what if other families could have more time when they need it most?

That question became our mission.

Carter’s Classic was created to give other families something we never had: time.

Time to hold onto what they’ll carry forever.

Today, Carter’s Classic is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that no family has to face the same impossible rush. Through the donation of Caring Cradles to hospitals, we’re helping families find comfort during the most unimaginable loss—because we know exactly what it feels like to go without it.
