My name is Danna Xue, and I'm proud to be a Butter Ambassador! I'm a freshman at Stanford and passionate about music, healthcare, tech, and social good. Aside from reading and practicing cello, I enjoy cooking, traveling, composing, and vlogging. Although my future is still fuzzy in terms of what exactly I'll be doing, my goal is to empower people to spend more time bringing good to society.

Tell us more about your experience as a performer.
One of my most memorable experiences was organizing and performing charity concerts with my trio in Hong Kong, China, and even in New York's Carnegie Hall! Through the process, we not only won international awards but learned so much about musicality, each city's culture, friendship, and teamwork. Overall, we were not paid for any of our efforts; rather, we were driven by a desire to explore, to motivate young musicians, and to use our skills to bring good to the world. Our group dynamics helped us create effective rehearsal strategies, while still allowing each other space for individual style and musicality. Working with the trio has taught me so much not only about music, but life in general!
Describe yourself in five words.
