Holiday Giving 2021

2021 was a banner year for the dignity of our older friends at Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly (LBFE). Thanks to kind supporters like you, our programs made a profound impact this year:

• LBFE launched Digital Dividends, a city-wide program where groups of university students work with groups of older friends in public senior housing to learn that technology doesn’t need to be intimidating.
• We hosted safe summer cookouts and intergenerational holiday programs as well as holiday telephone calls to friends.
• We expanded activities for Chinese and Spanish-speaking elders in Boston.

Too many Boston elders still struggle alone and accept being isolated in a youth-oriented world as the new normal of aging. But no one should accept elder isolation as normal.
