About CKP Foundation

CKP Foundation Inc. is a nonprofit organization founded by Chelsea Poppens, a former WNBA and overseas professional basketball player, coach, and mentor who has spent her career helping athletes and young people build confidence both on and off the court.

After years of competing at the highest levels of sport and working with athletes, families, and communities, Chelsea saw firsthand how access to strong mentorship, positive environments, and intentional development can shape not just performance — but character, leadership, and long-term opportunity. CKP Foundation was created to expand that impact beyond the game and into the lives of individuals and communities.

Through community events, educational programming, and youth-focused initiatives, CKP Foundation creates spaces where individuals feel supported, challenged, and inspired to grow. Whether through sport-based experiences or community gatherings that foster connection and empowerment, our goal is to develop confident leaders who carry these skills into every area of life.
