Common Thread - A community for teens in Utah

The latest trauma research reveals healing and recovery from trauma to be impossible without lasting, caring connections to others. We strive to create a safe, supportive, fun and connected community to support teens' healing journeys. We want to give teens the opportunities to make positive memories and friendships.

We organize events for teens ages 12-19 who are impacted by the foster care system, healing from trauma, or experiencing difficult hardships at home. From pottery and laser tag to outdoor movies and paddle-boarding, Common Thread is working hard to organize free activities twice a month. We are passionate about creating a space for those connected by this "common thread."
