Community members are joining together to mitigate the negative implications of the virus and to support those who aren't able to support themselves. Dylan Abrams (Chicago), Vincent Schaffer (New Haven) and Charlotte Lehmann (San Francisco) have organized this event in order to raise funds to support local food pantries. Runners across the US have gathered to run together (remotely) to SUPPORT LOCAL and lend a hand to their communities. Running distances include a 5k, 10k, half-marathon or marathon, and participants can post their results on their respective profiles. Participants must pay $25 to register and raise a minimum of $100. The event will take place (remotely) on Sunday, June 28th at 7:00am. Prior to this date, runners will set individual fundraising goals and work towards reaching their goals byway of support from friends, family, social media or any other methodologies. HELP US IN HELPING OUR COMMUNITIES :) Donations are tax-deductible, as College Ventures - a 501(c)3 - is sponsoring the event. givebutter<br>
