The Next Step launched in 2012 as a pilot project providing high-end prosthetic care in the US to Israelis suffering from limb-loss.

In 2016 the project evolved into a non-for-profit organization that was established in Israel to support children and adults suffering from limb-loss; through an array of programs and services that provide social, emotional and financial support, along with advocacy and lobbying for better prosthetic care.​

Today, The Next Step continues being the sole voice and power of the amputee and limb-loss community in Israel, servicing over 4,600 of its members, and making sure they never walk alone.
