Eric’s Safe Haven Foundation was born from unimaginable grief and transformed into a mission of hope.

After the sudden loss of Eric Webber in 2024, those who loved him most came together to honor the light he brought into the world. Eric was a gifted musician, a protector of the people he loved, and someone who truly believed in helping others feel seen, safe, and supported. His dream was to “leave behind a legacy that’s good.” This foundation is how we’re doing just that.

We are now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Dayton, Ohio, committed to turning pain into purpose. Our goal is to build a healing-centered community for those struggling with addiction, grief, mental health, recovery, codependency, and the ongoing fentanyl poisoning crisis. We do this through live music, emotional storytelling, and powerful in-person events that blend fun and connection with real healing resources.

Our flagship event—the Safe Haven Music Festival—will launch in September 2026 on what would have been Eric’s 40th birthday. It will include national and local musicians, family-friendly activities, fun, unique vendors, food trucks, creative spaces, and a tent village filled with access to recovery resources, workshops, and counseling. After this first event, we will make the Safe Haven Music Festival an annual tradition, growing in love, support, and healing every year.

We are here for every person who feels alone in their struggle. For every family affected by addiction. For every life lost too soon. And most of all—for Eric.

This is more than a foundation. This is a movement of love, music, and healing. And we’re just getting started.
