We host “community raising” events, which bring a group of neighbors together to accomplish a goal, as the Amish do with barn raisings. Like barn raisings, our community raisings involve people of all ages each doing their part as a group to create something good, in this case to help a local community organization.

You can choose to be part of the community raising as a volunteer or you can make a charitable gift to support the event.

Volunteers learn more about the event’s community organization and work with a team to make cards, assemble baskets, or other activities.

If you’d prefer to make a charitable gift, we’ll give you options and you choose where to direct your dollars. It could be picking up the cost of the turkey for Thanksgiving baskets or buying a coat for a local child. Each project will list several possibilities.
