As a data strategist, I have spent the last 20 years working with companies and departments to give them a competitive edge by helping them understand the impact of data & analytics on their business model and processes.
Now I am focusing on helping those in underserved and underrepresented communities ages 16 and up to upskill or reskill by partnering with The Fred Brandon FLAMES Foundation. This non-profit organization offers educational and career services and partners with educational platforms, organizations, and institutions to provide affordable educational programs. As a result, we enable them to access quality training, education, and successful job placement.
The Fred Brandon FLAMES Foundation currently sponsors the Southern Black Girls and Women's Consortium Tour. As a result, it has the privilege of presenting scholarships to 70 Black women and girls across four states to help them begin their journey into cybersecurity. One lucky winner will also receive a laptop.
To make this a reality, we need your help financially to support this initiative. Our goal of $25,000 will cover the scholarship cost, including courses, labs, exam preps, certification vouchers, promotional items, supplies, and travel.
