Dr. Devin Buckley left academia after finding it to be ideologically hostile to her intellectual and political interests. She received her Ph.D. at Duke University where she studied philosophy and literature. She also has an undergraduate degree in neuroscience and has achieved publications, awards and honors across disciplines.
Dr. Buckley now uses her talents as a writer and her training in rigorous argumentation as a philosopher to advocate for feminist causes outside the academy. Since many of the pseudo-feminist ideas circulating in our public discourse originate in academia, Dr. Buckley’s years as a student and professor make her especially keen at explaining these ideas and challenging them.
