Last March, when we saw what was going to happen to our economy from COVID, and while we listened to what farmers were experiencing as the pandemic unfolded, a team of really smart people whom I call colleagues, friends and partners asked these "what if" questions. "What if farmers got paid to grow food for people experiencing food insecurity?" "What if everyone had access to the freshest and most nutrient dense food?" Before too long, the Food Sovereignty Fund was born. I'm so honored to be a part of this project and hope you will be inspired to give, if you are able.
