In Memory of Loretta Shapiro

Loretta Shapiro was a visual artist who loved to read. From the very first Pen Parentis public event, Loretta and her husband Irv, were iconic supporters who attended and brought friends to the Pen Parentis Salons. A longtime Lower Manhattan neighbor of M. M. De Voe, Loretta served on the Pen Parentis Advisory Board and was an active and beloved donor of the nonprofit. She passed August 10th, 2024 after a long illness.
