My wife, Cheryl, and I bought a vacation home here in 2003. We have been addicted ever since. We are dedicated birdwatchers and nature lovers, seeing numerous ospreys every day, usually carrying unlucky fish. Working with my long-time colleague Pat Ragan and with the support of our generous friends, we want to create a video of our birdwatching and challenge our friends to support our efforts to raise funds and awareness for the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays.
The Center is a very effective organization dedicated to preserving the estuarine habitats and marshes of the Inland Bays, and the animals and plants dependent this vibrant ecosystem. Pat is on the Board of Directors and I am on the Development Committee, and with your help we will meet our fundraising goals. Standby for pictures and pages of our bird-watching adventures.
Finally, a big thank you to Jonathon Johnson, CIB Volunteer and eagle photographer, and Mark Glover and Anna Short for letting me use beautiful images of animals I have often seen but never photographed well.
