Thank you for making a positive impact on families in the Kansas City area managing a cancer diagnosis. Your donation toward Gilda’s Night and the Movies is helping provide education, counseling, support and resource referral to thousands of patients, caregivers, and their families.

In fact, you’ve made it possible for Gilda’s Club Kansas City to quickly pivot and provide programs via the Zoom platform since March. With the need for physical distancing during the health pandemic, your support has made it so that our program staff can provide increased one-on-one support and counseling.

We are receiving many comments like Sarah’s. “During my journey through cancer and the traumas of treatment, Gilda's Club was the ONLY place that understood the emotional and mental turmoil that such a journey caused. Cancer is socially and emotionally isolating like nothing else. Until, enter COVID19. The similarities of the experiences have not gone unnoticed by those of us in the cancer community. And cancer has not gone away just because we are in a pandemic. I still need Gilda’s. It's still my safe place. Help them help us, if only virtually for now.”
