Our hearts were shattered on March 3, 2022, when we lost one of the most kind-hearted souls in our lives.

Four years have passed, and although the healing continues, we hold tightly to God’s promises. Life was never meant to be easy—yet it was also never meant for us to carry our burdens alone. As Galatians 6:2 reminds us, “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”

From this truth, Guiding Light was created in honor of our beloved DrePando. Dre had one of the biggest hearts—always ready to help, always giving his best in everything he did. He was a listening ear for so many, even while keeping his own struggles quietly inside.

Guiding Light was founded in faith, with the purpose of bringing people together to support, uplift, and walk beside one another through life’s challenges. We are here to remind you: it’s okay not to be okay.
