I have been on several builds here in Tarrant County and I think the work Habitat for Humanity does in the community is incredible.  The process to become a homeowner through Habitat is not easy and the training they provide homeowners as part of the program is life changing.  The homes they build are built to such a high standard by incredible volunteers from the Green Shirt Leadership teams all the way to the day-to-day volunteers.  If you have never given Habitat a day I would highly recommend it. The experience is unlike anything else!
