Hey Benji Foundation is a grassroots nonprofit serving youth and families in Englewood on Chicago’s South Side. We provide free meals, social-emotional learning, and workforce development opportunities that create safe, consistent spaces for young people to grow and thrive.

Each summer, we serve over 1,500 meals to youth while also equipping them with life skills, leadership experience, and emotional support. Through programs like our SEL book Benji Learns Kindness and our teen workforce initiatives, we are helping young people build confidence, resilience, and real pathways toward their future.
