My dad, Dan Neff, was a giver. He willingly gave time, love, hard work, loyalty, friendship and a good long chin wag to anyone  who was in need of something he could offer.

I am a proud Daddy's Girl and have always been celebrated, supported and cheered on by the best dad I've ever met. That very best dad left this world for the next on April 15th. His death has rocked my world and shaken the foundation upon which so much of my life has been built.

But, I am Dan Neff's daughter. He taught me how to give when giving is hard. He left me with a deep well of love and confidence that he knew I'd need after he was no longer here to tell me in-person how proud he is of what I do and how dedicated I am to helping others make their way through their pain as they seek a sense of hope for the future. Dan Neff beamed pride and love whenever he talked about Soaring Spirits.

What my dad left in his wake after his death was a huge outpouring of love and a call to action for those of us still living...to give, to love and to serve each other. Community mattered to my dad and he believed that people were challenged, lifted and formed by being a part of a community, any community. 

And so my friends, I am dedicating my Telethon for Hope fundraising page to Dan Neff. Will you join me in paying love and kindness and compassion forward? 

My dad believed that our lives are improved by helping others. I am dedicated to participating in his legacy of service and love.
