To the outside world, we grieve a portion of a relationship, a part of the person we knew. But it is different for a brother and sister.

We will always know each other as we were a lifelong childhood bond. We know each other's hearts from the beginning. We share private family jokes and expressions. We navigated family feuds and kept each other's secrets. We could share a look and know what the other was thinking. As we grew, we could have miles or days between us and the love was always there. We experienced great family joys and true grief.

Our bond will continue to live outside the touch of time, and you will forever remain "Big Brother Tony" and I, your Little Sister. Rest Easy. Your laugh rings each day in memory for all of us.
