Add to Calendar 2023-01-13 18:30:00 2023-01-13 22:30:00 America/New_York Inspiring Hope Dinner: “Shining a Light On Mental Illness” This year’s Inspiring Hope Dinner will feature Grammy, Drama Desk and Tony Award-winning actress and singer, <strong>Jennifer Holliday.</strong>The original star of “Dreamgirls” will share the story of her own struggles with depression and multiple sclerosis, and will perform.<br/> <br>The dinner will also feature dancing to the music of <strong>Quintessence</strong>, a performance by the <strong>Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe Young Artists Ensemble</strong>, and a fabulous <a href="https://givebutter.com/c/inspiringhope/auction"><strong>silent auction</strong></a> featuring unique local experiences.</br> <br> Proceeds will benefit local mental health services provided by <strong>Harvest House</strong> and <strong>Teen Court of Sarasota</strong> and the cutting-edge research funded by the <strong>Brain & Behavior Research Foundation</strong>.
