The Ithaca Health Alliance fulfills its mission to facilitate access to health care for all, with a focus on the needs of the uninsured and underinsured, by providing free, integrated healthcare services through the operation of the Ithaca Free Clinic.

Founded in 1997, the Ithaca Health Alliance is celebrating 27 years of active service to our community. The Ithaca Free Clinic is now in its 18th year of continuous operation.

All health care services are free.

The Free Clinic provides healthcare services to those members of our community who earn too much to be eligible for Medicaid, are too young to be eligible for Medicare, and do not earn nearly enough to afford usable, low copay and low deductible health insurance plans available through the ACA's Market Place.

These are good people stuck in a bad place. The Ithaca Free Clinic provides no-cost healthcare services for these individuals that they can find nowhere else.

Free healthcare services currently available from IFC include: Medical Clinics; Chronic Care Support services; Financial Advocacy; Medicaid Insurance Enrollment and Navigation; Holistic healthcare services; Occupational Therapy; Food Pharmacy; Prescription Medication Support; Optometry Clinic and Optician services for both adults and children ages five and up; Community Health Education; On-site diagnostic services; and Emergency Prescription Medicine Support through the Ithaca Health Fund.

Ithaca Free Clinic healthcare services are provided by licensed, certified, and trained community volunteers who share their time and talents in providing healthcare services to our community members in need.
