I am pleased to share the official launch of the Washington Local Schools Foundation, with a mission to connect Panther Nation and beyond, with philanthropic opportunities to provide the resources needed for ALL students to excel inside and outside of the classroom - through innovative and extraordinary experiences. Each one of you makes a tremendous difference in the lives of our Washington Local Schools students every day. Because of you and your dedication, our students experience innovation, career preparation, the arts, athletics, and more.
We humbly ask you to consider a tax-deductible gift to the WLS Foundation to help reward the forward-thinking approach of the teachers and staff of Washington Local Schools by investing in our students and the strong school system. Moreover, it sends a powerful message to our alumni, parents, and community members as they consider their gift that many of our faculty and staff members stand behind this program.
The Foundation is creating an Innovative Student Microgrant Fund. Beginning spring 2022, teachers and staff will have the opportunity to request a grant from this fund. We need YOUR HELP to build this fund. This school year, we are asking you to consider helping to lead the inaugural Washington Local Schools staff giving campaign. Dollars raised through this campaign will be directed to the Teacher/Staff Microgrant Fund. Would you help us get started?
