Thank you for your interest in supporting the mission of the Junior League of Jacksonville!
We are a group of women building better communities, and I am proud to be participating in the 7th Annual Little Black Dress Initiative. During the week of February 21, 2022, I will be wearing the same black dress in an effort to bring awareness to food insecurity in Northeast Florida. Did you know that 1 out of 4 children lack adequate access to food, not taking into consideration affordability or nutrition?
The Junior League of Jacksonville’s current signature project is to combat food insecurity. One of our projects is the Fresh Minds Program, where we are providing FREE access to nutrition education and affordable, healthy foods to families at the Sanctuary on 8th Street. This program has resulted in the distribution of 2,576 fresh, well-balanced meals to families in Jacksonville and surrounding areas. We are on track to supply over 6,000 meals currently with your support, we could supply SO MUCH MORE!
I would appreciate your support to help advance our initiative! All donations go directly to the League and back into our programs.
The more we raise, the more we can do.
