Mission Defined

Preservation of Native Hawaiian Culture: In our dedication to preserving Native Hawaiian culture, we underscore an excerpt from a writing assignment completed by Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop while attending the Royal Children’s School, “By perseverance we mean, the exertions we make to accomplish things, which are once begun. It is a trait of character which we ought to cultivate, if we wish to overcome difficulties that come in our way. We cannot expect success to attend our efforts even if our plans are well laid, without perseverance”. This commitment to cultural endurance ensures that the rich heritage and traditions of Kānaka Maoli not only survive but thrive, maintaining their relevance on both global and regional stages.
Study and Dissemination of Rizal's Legacy: Embracing Rizalian traits and values involves a persistent effort to study and practice Kauka José Rizal’s ideals. By integrating these with Native Hawaiian values, we commit to a long-term vision of promoting intellectual engagement and moral integrity, ensuring these principles persist across generations.
Youth Development and Leadership: Our educational approach fosters youth empowerment through consistent and persistent efforts in leadership and character building. By integrating Native Hawaiian cultural practices with Kauka Rizal’s principles and Scouting, we prepare young leaders for dedicated service to their communities and nation.
Cultural and Educational Programs: Our programs are designed with perseverance in mind, aiming to educate and engage individuals in the significance of Native Hawaiian culture. Through persistent outreach and education, we ensure these traditions are carried forward.
Cultural Preservation and Promotion: Perseverance is key in our efforts to promote and preserve Native Hawaiian culture alongside the virtues of Rizalian chivalry and the principles of Scouting. This continuous effort enhances cultural identity and ensures the longevity of these traditions.
Youth Empowerment through Comprehensive Development Programs: By integrating STEAMY education with an emphasis on cultural values, we persistently cultivate leaders who excel in respecting and understanding their heritage. This comprehensive development prepares them for personal and economic success.
Community and Economic Development: Our initiatives for community endurance are inspired by traditional wisdom, which requires persistent innovation. These efforts are crucial for creating sustainable economic opportunities that revitalize Hawaii’s economy, with a keen focus on the cultural impact.
Educational Impact of a Holistic Approach: We provide continuous learning experiences that are deeply rooted in Native Hawaiian heritage, preparing youth for diverse career paths. Our persistent dedication to this holistic approach enriches their potential to lead and innovate.
Global Influence and Promotion of Values: Our mission extends the influence of Native Hawaiian culture and associated principles globally. Through persistent advocacy and education, we shape international perspectives on community, sustainability, and leadership, fostering a more empathetic and ethical global community.
