Dear Champion for Education,

For twenty years, inside the halls of KIPP Kansas City, potential has never been a question—it has been our promise.

Two decades ago, we opened our doors with a simple yet profound belief: every child, regardless of zip code or background, deserves an extraordinary education and an unshakable foundation to build a life of purpose. Today, as we reflect on twenty years of transformative growth, we see thousands of stories written in college lecture halls, local trade apprenticeships, and thriving careers across Kansas City and beyond.

But our work is far from finished.

As we look toward the next twenty years, we face a critical moment. True educational equity means more than providing books and desks—it means removing every hidden barrier that stands between a child and their future. It means...

Ensuring that an unhoused student walks through our doors on day one with dignity and confidence in a brand-new uniform.

Making sure our classrooms are equipped with cutting-edge STEM technology, and our facilities reflect the brilliance of the scholars inside them.

Opening doors to real-world internships, trade certifications, and career visits so our high schoolers don’t just dream about the future—they step directly into it.

Making sure that when our seniors cross the graduation stage, financial gaps never stop them from claiming their college degrees or trade credentials.

We invite you to join us on this Path to 20. Step into our schools, place your name on our walls, and help us build a legacy that will transform Kansas City for generations to come.
