This Giving Tuesday, we’re launching the KTX Blue Towel Mission — a movement to ensure aging neighbors in our community can continue living safely, comfortably, and confidently in the homes they love.

🚀 Why We’re Launching Now

Every week, aging homeowners in Katy are struggling with essential home tasks they can no longer physically manage — window washing, gutter clearing, driveway cleaning, safety checks, and basic home repairs.

These aren’t luxuries — they’re things that protect:

Dignity
Independence
Emotional well-being
Health and mobility

And often, they’re the difference between staying home… and being forced to leave it.

🏥 A Powerful Partnership

We are working alongside local healthcare providers and hospital partners who recognize a critical truth:

A clean, safe, maintained home is part of health.

Falls, mold, blocked walkways, broken lighting, and unsafe access points contribute to injuries, isolation, hospital readmission, preventable ER visits, and decline.

So together—we’re creating solutions before a crisis happens.

Our long-term goal is for hospital partners to help fund 15 Home Care Scholarships every month so services can continue without asking the public for ongoing donations.

🎁 Giving Tuesday Goal: $15,000

To begin serving immediately — and to show the community wants this, we’re raising:

⭐️ $15,000 = Launch funding for the first 15 Home Care Scholarships

Each $1,200 scholarship provides:

✔️ Safety and comfort assessment
✔️ Exterior cleaning (windows, gutters, driveway, walkway, siding)
✔️ Minor repairs and hazard corrections
✔️ Essential maintenance support (AC, furnace, plumbing)
✔️ Follow-up check-ins and care
