Line Family Relief Foundation was created from a deep connection to the linework community and a simple belief: when tragedy strikes a line family, they shouldn’t have to face it alone.

Our organization was founded by people who know this life personally. We know the long hours, missed holidays, storm calls, dangerous conditions, and sacrifices that come with keeping the power on. We also know that behind every lineworker is a family waiting for them to come home.

When a serious injury, illness, permanent disability, or loss of life suddenly takes a lineworker or line-clearance tree professional away from work, the financial impact can be immediate. A family already facing one of the hardest moments of their lives shouldn’t also have to wonder how they’ll keep up with everyday expenses.

That’s why we created Line Family Relief Foundation.

Our goal is to provide direct financial assistance to eligible line families across the United States during times of significant hardship. Through donations, fundraising, partnerships, and the support of the line community, we’re building a foundation capable of stepping in when families need it most.

We are currently building and fundraising with the goal of beginning our family assistance program in 2027.

This foundation was built for the line community, by people who love the line community—and when one line family needs help, we want to make it possible for all of us to stand behind them. ⚡
