100+ events (85+% free, open to the public) featuring 500+ authors taking place over 16 days in October 2024, at 50+ venues in the San Francisco area.

Festival includes:

Kidquake, two days of assemblies and workshops for 4,000 Bay Area public school children. 100% free

Words Around the World, a celebration of works in translation in collaboration with international embassies that features ~20 international authors at ~10 events for 1,000 total attendees. 100% free
Litquake Out Loud, a program series curated by local BIPOC and LGBTQ+ writers, 6 events with an accompanying book fair for a total of 1,500 attendees. 100% free
Lit Crawl San Francisco, 50+ free events in one night feat. local authors, writing and performing groups, and presses selected with an eye towards BIPOC and LGBTQ+ voices. 300+ writers and 5,000+ attendees. 100% free

Litquake Year Round 2024/2025:

25+ events featuring 75+ authors/performers
Public performances might include celebrations of Black History Month, National Poetry Month, and One City One Book, and will take place at various locations across the San Francisco Bay Area.

Elder Project - 175+ community-building writing classes per year that provide an outlet for Elders to preserve and share their stories. 100+ Elders served at six locations. 100% free.
