We're kicking off the event to commemorate One Health Day, which occurs on November 3rd every year. We'll be answering questions about what "One Health" is, what "One Health Organization" is, and what we call a "One Health Family." We'll follow those up with questions for volunteers who live with pets to share their stories of the joys and challenges of having pets in our lives.
Next, we'll celebrate One Health Giving Day on Thursday, November 11, 2021. During this live event taking place at 11:30 am, we'll be asking people living in Ohio to help reach our goal to raise at least $5,000 to provide access to veterinary care for low-income people with pets, like Lisa and her family, living in Northeast Ohio.
"Our pets are the glue that keeps our family together. They mean everything to us. Life is much better with them. It always worries me that my fur babies might need care that, since being disabled, I can't always afford. I want to keep them as healthy as possible for the rest of their lives." - Lisa M.
Finally, on 11/18/2021 starting at 4:30 pm we'll be talking about keeping our pets healthy and happy around family and friend gatherings, especially with holiday events that you might be planning in the near future.
