The experience of trauma is universal. Access to support is not. Globally, 8 billion people will experience trauma in their lifetime, and yet 93% of people in crisis are left without adequate care. When they seek help, they face immense barriers: cost, stigma, language, and critical workforce shortages block access.

Our trauma-informed tools, Ruth and SafeConnect, break down barriers to crisis support without replacing human care. They help individuals navigate and identify crises and strengthen the capacity of organizations to reach those in need.

Established upon a foundation of the lived experience of violence survivors and advocates, and the expertise of technologists, The Parasol Cooperative builds tools that are both radically empathetic and technologically robust.
