This month I am raising money to support Project Access! Here's why:

Over time, I have seen the impact of our programs on youth. I remember one family in particular who moved into the community with 3 young kids - 2 elementary school aged, 1 middle school. The youngest kids came to the Resource Center to get their homework done and engage in an educational enrichment activity. Sometimes, they just needed a safe place to hang out. The oldest was in our tween/teen program that focused on leadership skills, volunteerism, and how to get into college.

The other day, I reached out to donors to the campaign and recognized one of the names. It was the eldest of this family! It was incredible to hear how they're all doing now. After college, she has been working at a tax office and is interested in a career in accounting. Her younger brother is a 2nd year at CSULB and her younger sister is graduating high school in the spring.

Stories like this are happening at the 75+ Resource Centers across the country and your gift today will continue to change lives!
