The PLANT Youth Foundation (Preparing Leaders through Agriculture and Nature Training) is a nonprofit organization rooted in the belief that every young person deserves access to green spaces, fresh food, and opportunities to lead. Through school gardens, seasonal workshops, and environmental programs, we create safe, empowering spaces where underserved youth can explore sustainability, food justice, and personal growth.

Our programming is designed to do more than teach gardening—it fosters curiosity, responsibility, and leadership in students who are often left out of conversations about environmental stewardship. Currently serving schools in the Hazelwood School District, our work reaches over 150 students each week with the support of community partners, educators, and volunteers.

We are planting seeds—of knowledge, confidence, and change—and watching a generation grow.
