I started working with the PPEforPA.com team from its inception.  The group has given me a purpose, direction and a lever by which I can affect real change during this pandemic when it is so easy to feel helpless.

Simply put, we are using our technical abilities (3D Design, 3D Printing and sewing) to protect those that are helping others.  Without these face shields, ear savers and face masks the doctors, nurses, support staff, and emergency services personnel  are unnecessarily exposing themselves to infection.  Without them doing their jobs effectively, the entire public it put at risk.

The poor planning and inaction from our "leadership" is clear.  It so easy to feel overwhelmed and frustrated by those in power that do nothing.  I can not and will not sit by idly and let this pandemic wash over me - I choose to act and make things better.
