Founded in 2009 as a Limited Liability Company (LLC), Queen Nefertiti Productions Inc. began with a mission to produce pageants that celebrate excellence, empowerment, and service. From the start, community involvement has been at the heart of what we do. Both participants and staff are required to volunteer, with community service built directly into our scoring system and encouraged throughout each titleholder’s reign.

In July 2022, our Founder expanded that vision. She dissolved the LLC and established Queen Nefertiti Productions Inc. as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, allowing pageants and events to serve as platforms to raise scholarship funds for winners. Maintaining the Queen Nefertiti name honors the organization’s legacy of leadership and global impact. Today, our Founder continues to serve as Board President, guiding our mission with purpose and passion.

Our organization proudly produces pageants for four prestigious systems:

Miss Black Ohio USA Scholarship Pageant, the official state franchise of Miss Black USA, based in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Hope Journey Pageants USA and Canada, national preliminaries for Hope Journey International (Acting Hope NGO) in Cape Town, South Africa.
Ubuntu Pageants International, an international competition founded by our Founder.
Ohio American Royal Miss Pageant, the official state preliminary for American Royal Miss Pageants in Mobile, Alabama.

We pride ourselves on creating family-friendly competitions that inspire confidence, unity, and purpose. Our pageants welcome participants from birth through adulthood, with divisions that even include teen boys and men through Ubuntu Pageants International.

Looking ahead, our vision is to continue providing educational scholarships to our winners and their courts, while also offering at least one free pageant entry each year to a deserving participant facing financial need. With the support of platforms like Givebutter, along with community partnerships and grants, we are building a legacy of opportunity and empowerment—one crown at a time.
