My choice to donate, spread awareness and fundraise for Uplift this season is to honor the women in my life who could have benefited from direct financial assistance at a time when they experienced a crisis and needed immediate support. I'm sure you likely know a woman who has faced an immediate crisis at some time in her life.  Perhaps she faced domestic violence, divorce, loss of job, food insecurity, loss of transportation, or something else that brought severe heartache.

I encourage you to honor a woman today, whether it be a close friend, family member or a perfect stranger in need of a giving heart. Any size gift will make a difference!

$500 You can help provide monthly housing for a homeless single mother + children

• $200 Help buy groceries for a mother and her children who have food insecurities
• $100 Assist an uninsured or under insured female her prescription medication
• $50 Provide transportation for a woman who has a job but is unable to afford transportation to and from work
• $25 Help provide a mother diapers for her small child
• $10 Buy a woman or child in a need a warm meal
