Hippotherapy is a proven treatment approach that uses the movement of the horse to improve strength, balance, and functional skills for individuals with conditions like cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, and autism. Research consistently shows meaningful gains in motor function and independence after just a few months of therapy.

Yet in all of Idaho, only two organizations offer hippotherapy and none are located in the Treasure Valley. Local adaptive riding programs face waitlists exceeding a year, and equine-assisted mental health services remain limited.

Rising Strides Therapy Ranch was created to bridge this gap, bringing evidence-based therapy, emotional healing, and the unique connection between horse and human to those who need it most.
