Dear Friends,
Please help me support the Rocky Mountain Innocence Center (RMIC).
As you know, the past several years of my career has been devoted to understanding and helping to improve forensic eyewitness identification. What continues to drive me to this issue was learning that the Innocence Project and various affiliated organizations have worked to exonerate hundreds of people who have been convicted of crimes that they did not commit. Most of these individuals were convicted on the basis of false identification by eyewitnesses.
RMIC is a nonprofit organization that handles claims of post-conviction innocence in Utah, Nevada, and Wyoming. RMIC also advocates in each state's legislature to prevent miscarriages of justice and to provide for those who have been wrongly incarcerated.
I ask you to watch any of the videos below about the work of the RMIC and about their exonerated clients. If you're moved by what you see, please support RMIC by making a donation. I know that this has been a hard year for everyone, but to sweeten the pot, I will personally match the first $250 in donations from my own funds.
Please give as you can. Every donation makes a difference.
I appreciate you!
J
