Roots to Resiliency was created from a simple belief: when communities invest in their youth, everyone grows stronger.

In many families, children are full of curiosity, creativity, and potential—but opportunities for hands-on learning, mentorship, and mental wellness education are not always easy to access. Roots to Resiliency exists to bridge that gap.

We empower young people and families through innovative programs that nurture confidence, connection, and lifelong skills.

Building Confidence Through LEGO Robotics

One of our signature initiatives is the Roots to Resiliency LEGO Robotics Club.

Through robotics, youth learn:

Problem-solving and critical thinking
Teamwork and communication
Leadership and perseverance
The joy of creating something with their own hands

What starts as building robots becomes something much bigger: self-belief.

Our programs are made possible by caring volunteers—mentors, educators, parents, and community members who give their time to guide the next generation.

We invest in our volunteers through training, background checks, and support, ensuring every child is safe, encouraged, and inspired.

Promoting Mental Wellness for All

Roots to Resiliency also hosts free community events focused on mental health awareness, education, and stigma reduction.

During Mental Health Awareness Month in May—and throughout the year—we bring families together to learn about emotional wellness, available resources, and ways to support one another.

These events create space for honest conversations, connection, and hope.
