Supporters! 2023 marks our 13th consecutive year hosting the Red Shoe Lunch. We have done a great job raising awareness about heart disease; however, we have not done the best job raising funds. Prior to securing our non-profit status, all proceeds went to the American Heart Association (AHA). To date we have raised over $21,000 for AHA; however, we haven’t been able to cover the costs for the lunch or raise money for our grassroots efforts (helping those in the communities we live).

Now that we have secured our non-profit status, all proceeds from the lunch will go to the Veronica Blount Memorial Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We will also make our annual contribution to the American Heart Association via the Veronica Blount Memorial Fund with AHA.
