Safe Space Salon and Art Gallery opened amidst the height of the pandemic. Many of you know the craziness that ensued while opening the salon, and the hills/mountains we climbed to get here, but we finally made it.

Sadly, just a little over two years after opening, the building owner has made his intent to sell to condo developers clear to us, and we have been left with the option to sign a lease with the current building owner that allows him to exit the lease with 120 days notice if he sells, or we can move. We are choosing to move to a new location now while we have found a favorable location and before we are locked into an agreement with an unreasonable landlord who has continuously gone back on his word since the beginning of our tenancy.

Long story short, we are moving, but we have to move quickly, and we are in need of the funds to do the upfit on the new space and continue to support the community in the ways we have for two years.

We have held community events, provided affordable gender affirming haircuts, supported tons of local artists and makers, sponsored charity events, regularly donate to the LGBTQ center, and much more.

Anything you can donate will be poured right back into the community in heart, soul, and time. We appreciate you helping us help the people we love.
