Hockey has always had a belonging problem. For too long, LGBTQIA+ people have been made to feel like outsiders in a sport they love — or never felt welcome enough to try it at all.

Seattle Pride Hockey Association exists to change that.

We build and connect the LGBTQIA+ hockey community in Seattle through events, programming, and culture-shift work that centers belonging, safety, and joy. From barrier-removal grants that help players access gear and registration, to community events that bring players, fans, and allies together — everything we do is designed to make hockey a place where LGBTQIA+ people don't just participate. They thrive.

We believe queer joy is the point. We believe access is intentional, not accidental. And we believe that a more inclusive hockey culture is better for everyone — LGBTQIA+ players and allies alike.
