Impact Story: Permissia's story exemplifies our mission. Once homeless, she now has a home, a business, and cares for five children with our support. Her journey from despair to empowerment reflects the transformative power of our work.

History: Founded by Jeffery and Ashley Petress after the 2010 Haiti earthquake, Second Chance Global has grown from providing immediate relief to focusing on long-term empowerment. Since becoming a 501(c)(3) in 2016, we have expanded our mission to include multiple service areas, impacting thousands of lives.

Our Approach:

Break Cycles of Poverty: By addressing the root causes, we improve community outlooks and prevent ongoing generational poverty.
Create Sustainable Change: Empowering individuals within communities to contribute to local stability.
Expand Proven Methods: Partnering with high-capacity local leaders to explore sustainable solutions and expand our impact globally.

Achievements and Goals:

Step 1 (2016-2020): Established mission and vision, operated in two service areas, and impacted over 300,000 lives.
Step 2 (2020-2023): Expanded to a third service area, impacted over 782,000 lives, and increased our reach into the Dominican Republic.
Step 3 (2023-2025): Strengthening impact, providing relief and empowerment, and building infrastructure for long-term support.
Step 4 (2026-2027): Expanding reach to new countries and continuing to build community resources.

Through our focused efforts and God's guidance, Second Chance Global continues to make significant strides in ending generational poverty and empowering individuals to live out their purpose for the glory of God.
