She Turned Ministries, Inc. exists to walk with women through some of life’s hardest turning points — moments of widowhood, deep grief, or faith-shaking experiences that can leave them unseen, unheard, and undervalued. We believe every turning point deserves a strong foundation — and when women turn toward healing, resilience, and community, everything changes.

Our ministry is a covering for three focused arms of support:

First Year Covered – Walking with widows through their first year of loss with practical care, grief support, and hope-filled encouragement. This includes our First Year Covered Box, a thoughtfully designed resource package that helps widows feel hugged, honored, and equipped for their journey through the early days of grief. First Year Covered is our most resource-intensive ministry and the area where your giving makes the greatest immediate impact.
Seen & Sustained Sisterhood – A safe and affirming space for Black women widows, who too often carry grief in silence under the weight of cultural expectations. We nurture healing, community, and advocacy to restore dignity and visibility.
UNshaken. UNalone. UNafraid. – A resilience movement for Black women of faith navigating disappointment, church hurt, and disconnection, yet choosing to remain rooted in their faith. This sisterhood provides tools, coaching, and community for spiritual and emotional strength.
