On Friday, April 30th, my pup, Teddy and I are sleeping outside so others don't have to. Beacon's Friend's Place shelter is so important for people in Monroe County.
We sheltered more than 400 people at the shelter last year (and a bunch of dogs, too) and I’m trying to raise the funds to sponsor ten people for their entire stay - about $540 per person.

$12 funds a night of shelter
$36 gets a weekend
$60 funds five days
$84 provides a week
$168 provides a fortnight (be a fortnight donor - you know you wanna!)
$372 funds a month
$540 sponsors a guest for an average stay of 45 days.
And if you want to go big, you could become a weekly sponsor at $3,360, which supports the whole shelter, every guest, including the dogs, for a week.
