As we approach the end of another transformative year, the Southern California Pacific Islander Community Response Team (SoCal PICRT) invites you to join us in making a lasting impact on the Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (NHPI) communities across Southern California.

About Us:

SoCal PICRT stands as a beacon of unity, comprising NHPI community-based organizations and dedicated advocates from the CHamoru, Marshallese, Native Hawaiian, Samoan, and Tongan. Our vision is to nurture a flourishing NHPI community deeply rooted in Pasifika heritage, embracing diverse identities, and collectively empowering individuals to reach their fullest potential.

Our mission is to weave a thriving network of Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander community-based organizations to holistically support and advocate for the well-being and sustainability of Southern California NHPI communities.

A Beacon in Challenging Times:

In response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, SoCal PICRT emerged in 2020. Today, with over 19 partner organizations and collaborations with city, county, and state entities, academic institutions, and healthcare providers, we continue to provide culturally relevant resources to diverse NHPI populations.

Our coalition is committed to recognizing and serving the intersectional identities within our communities. From LGBTQIA+ individuals to veterans, those with disabilities, undocumented individuals, Compact of Free Association migrants, and marginalized segments, we strive for inclusivity and equity in every initiative.
