Sol Well was founded in April 2020 by Autumn Colón, at the height of the global pandemic, after she brought together a community of moms seeking support, healing, and connection in a time of deep isolation.

What began as “The Mom Space” where shared stories, raw reflections on motherhood, mental illness, and identity—quickly revealed a deeper truth: the conversations moms of color needed weren’t being held in traditional spaces.

Sol Well became a village. A digital and in-real-life community created for—and by—moms navigating the dual weight of mental health and motherhood.

Today, we continue to hold space for those stories. And we continue to center care, culture, and connection in everything we do.
